Baltimore Bride magazine

There are three sections in which we use submitted photography: Real Weddings, Snapshots and Basics openers. The Real Weddings section is where we highlight four or five local weddings in greater photographic detail. We look for a comprehensive collection of images that tell the entire wedding story—candids and posed shots as well as still life. Snapshots is just that—one great image from a wedding. Basics openers are the informational sections that cover everything the bride needs to know to plan the perfect wedding in Greater Baltimore.

WHAT TO SUBMIT

• Wedding(s) must have occurred between August 2010 and August 2011.
• High-resolution images with color contact sheets. To be considered for Real Weddings, you must submit 50-100 images per wedding.
• For Real Wedding submissions only, please include the bride and groom names, contact info, wedding date and location.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: August 31, 2011

Will be published January and July 2012

Baltimore Bride Online: Weddings of the Month

We try to publish on our website all the great weddings we just didn’t have room for in the magazine.

WHAT TO SUBMIT:

• Submissions requirements are the same as submitting for the magazine.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: August 31, 2011/Year Round

Will be published the first of each month

Look Who’s Engaged! & Look Who Got Married!

We figured out that Brides want to see great photography all the time.

WHAT TO SUBMIT (Look Who’s Engaged):

• One great photo of the couple and their full names.

WHAT TO SUBMIT (Look Who Got Married):

• One great photo of the couple and their full names, wedding date/location.
• Wedding(s) must have occurred within 4 months of submission.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Year Round

Will be published ASAP. Limit one post per day.

Please note: Notifications will not be made for each posting. Be sure you ‘like’ us so you are notified in your news feed.

THE FINE PRINT

• Must be a Central MD/Baltimore area wedding. We do accept Annapolis and Chesapeake Bay/Eastern Shore weddings. Sorry, no DC or DC suburb weddings.
• Weddings submitted for ‘Look who Got Married’ are still eligible to be submitted for Real Weddings and Weddings of the Month.
• Must have releases for all submitted photography.
