Alana Most & Timothy Beall
September 1, 2007

Number of attendants 29. How They met Alana was 16 and Tim was 18 when they were both employees at stores at Harford Mall. "I couldn't stop walking past his store to see him," Alana says. "When we got married, we had been together nearly 10 years with no on-and-off periods, just us full-throttle!" The Engagement He proposed during a horse-and-carriage ride in Annapolis. It was fitting, Alana says, "because I have my own horses and I can never get enough of them." A date they'll always remember Their first anniversary, when Tim decorated the table and cooked bow tie pasta for Alana. Wedding design inspiration Love Birds. Tables were named after birds, like the Baltimore Oriole, Red-headed Woodpecker and American Robin. Flower girls had flower wings, tables were adorned with birdcage centerpieces, and guests' names were written on bird magnets. What was unique and special about their wedding Organic food and organic wine. Signature drinks at the reception were the "Toodle-tini," (hazelnut martini) and A"lay"na on the Beach (sex on the beach cocktail). Favorite Details The flower girl wings had aqua roses sewed in the feathers; the bridesmaid dresses were sewed by a family member. Most Unexpected Event at the Wedding Alana's parents crying during the wedding ceremony. Alana smashing the wedding cake in her sister's face instead of Tim's. Three Words to Describe Their Wedding A Wonderful Life. One Thing They Learned Communicate, even during the stubborn moments. Piece of Advice Don't create work for yourself. If there's a simple way to do it, take that route. Don't be afraid to ask family and friends for help with little tasks.
